**Cumming Group Expands Northeast Presence with Acquisition of LeftField**
Cumming Group, the New York-based international project management and cost consulting firm, has announced the addition of LeftField, a Boston-based owner’s project management consultancy. Though terms of the deal were not disclosed, the merger significantly enhances Cumming Group’s presence in the Northeast by doubling its size in the region and strengthening its capabilities across both public and private sectors.
Founded in 2007 by Jim Rogers, LeftField has established a strong reputation in the K–12 education market and also brings substantial experience in higher education, life sciences, and municipal projects. The firm is particularly well-known throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut for its expertise in managing public capital programs, including schools, athletic and public safety facilities, and community centers. Additionally, LeftField has managed commercial developments such as research laboratories and mixed-use academic facilities.
With the addition of more than 60 professionals from LeftField, Cumming Group now boasts over 150 team members in New England alone and more than 2,850 globally, solidifying its position as one of the region’s premier pure-play project management organizations.
