"Crowdstrike Founder Hopes for Approval of 'The Parque' in Scottsdale"

The Scottsdale City Planning Commission unanimously supports a proposed development plan and zoning district map amendment for “The Parque” – a mixed-use project at the former site of CrackerJax amusement park. Billionaire George Kurtz, co-founder and CEO of cybersecurity company CrowdStrike, is leading the transformation of this 32-acre property into a vibrant community with residential, retail, office space, hotel accommodations and open gathering areas.

Plans for The Parque include a luxurious five-star hotel with 223 rooms; branded condominiums with 126 units; over 897 multifamily residences including workforce housing options; Class A office space totaling to approximately 100,000 square feet; as well as retail and restaurant spaces spanning over more than 25,000 square feet. The development will consist of twelve buildings ranging from one to ten stories in height.

According to reports by Phoenix Business Journal , approval from the City Council is currently being considered after receiving unanimous support from the Scottsdale City Planning Commission. This highly anticipated project aims to revitalize the area while providing top-notch amenities for residents and visitors alike.
