"Crowdstrike Founder Hopes for Approval of 'The Parque' in Scottsdale"

The Scottsdale City Planning Commission unanimously supports a development plan and zoning district map amendment for “The Parque,” a mixed-use development on the former site of CrackerJax amusement park. The proposal, led by billionaire George Kurtz, co-founder and CEO of cybersecurity company CrowdStrike, aims to transform the 32-acre property into a vibrant community with various amenities.

Plans for The Parque include a five-star hotel with 223 rooms, hotel-branded condominiums with 126 units, nearly 900 multifamily residences including workforce housing options, new office space spanning over 100,000 square feet and retail and restaurant spaces totaling more than 60,o00 square feet. The project will consist of twelve buildings ranging from one to ten stories in height.

According to reports from the Phoenix Business Journal ,the Scottsdale City Council is currently considering approving this ambitious project after receiving unanimous support from the city’s planning commission. With its prime location in an affluent area like Scottsdale coupled with its diverse offerings catering to different needs within one community setting makes “The Parque” an attractive prospect for both residents and businesses alike.
