Crowdfunding Developer Converts Mesa Hotel into Apartments

Neighborhood Ventures, a real estate investment firm utilizing crowdfunding, is revitalizing a neglected Mesa motel into an affordable multifamily housing community. The former American Inn was acquired for $13.2 million in 2021 and will be transformed into 120 apartment units through the project known as Venture on Country Club.

With successful fundraising of $3.5 million from Arizona residents using their unique crowdfunding model, Neighborhood Ventures is able to offer opportunities for both accredited and non-accredited investors to participate in this venture.

According to Jamison Manwaring of Neighborhood Ventures, the support from over 300 investors showcases their belief that providing affordable housing options can greatly benefit Mesa City and its residents.

The apartments will consist of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units with monthly rents ranging from approximately $1,100 to $1
