**CRG Joins $68M Industrial Development on Chicago’s West Side**
CRG, a St. Louis-based real estate developer and investor, has joined a $68 million industrial project planned for Chicago’s West Side. The firm has partnered with local developers Related Midwest and 548 Development to bring a solar-powered industrial complex to North Lawndale.
The project will be located at 4300 W. Roosevelt Road and will feature two industrial buildings, each spanning 181,760 square feet, along with two 5,000-square-foot innovation centers. These centers will include space for community-based retail, workforce training, and office uses.
“CRG is pleased to be involved in the development project at 4300 Roosevelt Road,” said Susan Bergdoll, Senior Vice President and Partner for the Midwest Region at CRG. “We are working closely with all our project partners as we move toward closing on the land.”
The Chicago City Council recently approved a $7.7 million tax incentive for the development. In total, the project is expected to receive up to $8 million in tax increment financing. Once completed, the development is projected to generate 250 full-time jobs and 125 construction jobs.
