**CRG Breaks Ground on The Cubes at Cicero Industrial Facility Near Chicago**
CRG has officially broken ground on The Cubes at Cicero, an 85,680-square-foot industrial warehouse located at 5401 W. Roosevelt Road in Cicero, Illinois, just west of downtown Chicago.
The new facility is designed to meet growing demand for smaller-footprint industrial space in the Chicago area. The Cubes at Cicero will offer modern features including a 32-foot clear height, 16 dock-high loading doors, two drive-in doors, and approximately 2,000 square feet of office space. The property provides convenient access to Interstates 290 and 55, and is located less than 10 miles from downtown Chicago and approximately 6 miles from Midway International Airport.
This development comes at a time when industrial real estate remains in high demand in the Chicago market. According to Colliers, the area’s industrial vacancy rate was just 4.67% as of mid-2025, reflecting a tight supply of available space.
Colliers has been appointed as the exclusive leasing brokerage for the project. The leasing team includes Thomas Rodeno, Patrick Turner, and Sean Austin, who will spearhead marketing efforts for the property.
DSI has been selected as the general contractor for the development, while the project design was led by Lamar Johnson Collaborative.
The Cubes at Cicero marks another addition to CRG’s expanding industrial portfolio, supporting the continued economic and logistical growth of the greater Chicago area.
