Crescent Communities is set to commence construction this month on a 237-unit apartment complex situated north of Charlotte, along the Lake Norman shoreline. According to the Charlotte Business Journal, Crescent acquired just over 15 acres in Davidson for $6.5 million.
The upcoming development will be known as Novel Davidson and falls under one of Crescent’s primary multifamily brands. The developer has several other projects under its Novel brand throughout the Charlotte region.
Recently, Crescent’s Novel brand has been involved in various developments across the region including Ballantyne (see photo), University City, and Mallard Creek areas. Additionally, a new project is expected to begin next year at The River District – an expansive project by Crescent located in west Charlotte.
