**Creation to Break Ground on $120M Mixed-Use Development “The Switchyard” in Queen Creek**

Construction is set to begin in the coming days on The Switchyard, a $120 million mixed-use development in Queen Creek, Arizona. Spearheaded by development firm Creation, the project will feature a combination of residential, office, and retail components spread across 54,000 square feet.

The development will rise on a parcel of town-owned land located at the intersection of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads. Creation secured the rights to develop the site following a 2022 request for proposals issued by the town.

The retail lineup will include notable restaurants such as Postino, Shake Shack, and Snooze, all situated near a 215-unit apartment community and modern office space.

Creation is partnering with design and development firms GFF Design, LGE Design Build, and Horizon Real Estate to bring The Switchyard to life.

The first phase of the project — encompassing the retail, restaurant, and office spaces — is expected to open in the summer of 2026. A second phase, which includes luxury apartment residences, will follow thereafter.
