Work Begins on Heritage Park in Downtown Gilbert
Construction has officially begun on Heritage Park, a significant development located at the northern gateway of Gilbert’s Heritage District. This 10-acre downtown destination will blend dining, living, and community spaces to further enhance the area’s appeal.
The project is led by Creation in partnership with Crescent Communities, and it encompasses a full city block at the intersection of Gilbert Road and Juniper Avenue.
The first phase of the development includes:
– 47,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space
– NOVEL Heritage Park, a luxury multifamily community featuring 288 residences
– Over 300 surface parking spaces
– A vibrant public square complete with water features, mature landscaping, public art installations, and pedestrian and biking pathways
Flagship Restaurant Group will bring a strong culinary presence to the project, securing 14,000 square feet to launch three new restaurants in the East Valley.
Future phases of Heritage Park will add a 125-room hotel and office space, creating a comprehensive mixed-use environment.
The development is set to open in phases, beginning in 2026. NOVEL Heritage Park is expected to open in the spring of 2027. Construction is being led by LGE Design Build.
