Tom Whelan, a principal at Lee & Associates | Maryland regional office, has been selected to lead the growth and operations of the organization’s Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia branches.
Whelan brings over 38 years of experience in commercial real estate to his new role, including 12 years with Lee & Associates. He co-founded the Maryland division of this employee-owned brokerage firm with Allan Riorda in 2013 and has since expanded it to include a team of nearly 20 professionals specializing in brokerage services, property management, marketing, and administration.
According to Riorda: “The DC/Northern Virginia market is thriving right now and we have an exceptional team in place that can capitalize on emerging opportunities.”
Assisting Whelan will be Kristin Rebeck as Senior Vice President. With over 17 years of experience in real estate, Rebeck specializes in commercial office spaces as well as industrial/warehouse properties. Gideon Price will also support Whelan by focusing on tenant representation for leasing deals.
