"CRE Investors Favor Atlanta"

According to the 2025 U.S. Investor Intentions Survey by CBRE, Atlanta has been ranked as one of the top 10 target markets for commercial real estate investors. It maintained its spot at #4 among other attractive markets for investment.

Shea Campbell from CBRE stated that Atlanta’s diverse range of educational institutions and employment sectors have contributed to its population growth in recent years. This has also led to a surge in multifamily development, reaching its peak in mid-2024. As a result, there is sustained leasing activity and rent growth, which has boosted investor confidence for the foreseeable future.

Investors are strategically focusing on gateway markets with discounts and high-growth Sun Belt regions like Atlanta due to their potential for growth. Other Sun Belt cities that made it into the top 10 include Raleigh-Durham, Austin, and Phoenix. Dallas remained at the top spot as the most preferred market for investment four years running while Miami ranked second.
