Cowboy Owner Expanding Frisco Domain

Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, has announced plans for a new mixed-use development at The Star in Frisco. This expansive project will include 158 urban living units, a hotel, marquee sign, two parking garages and two office buildings on the northwest corner of Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway. According to reports from the Dallas Business Journal, this development is being referred to as “Frisco Multi-Event Center Addition.”

The proposed site spans 11.9 acres and currently serves as a parking lot adjacent to The Star – an already established mixed-use complex that houses the Cowboys’ headquarters.

Since its opening in 2016 at 9 Cowboys Way, The Star has become a major economic hub for Frisco. While it is primarily known as the practice facility for America’s Team,the area also boasts other billion-dollar projects such as Firefly Park,Frisco Railhead,andThe Mixand Fields – which currently houses boththe PGA of America Headquarters andthe500-room Omni PGA Frisco Resort.This latest expansion by Jerry Jones promises even more growthfor this thriving community.
