Shake Shack has signed a lease for a 3,000-square-foot pad site at Cascades Marketplace in Sterling, Loudoun County, Virginia. According to the Washington Business Journal , this outlet is set to open in 2025 following the expiration of McDonald’s restaurant lease in fall 2024. Willard Retail – an affiliate of Cascades Marketplace – is investing $5 million on improvements and additional residential development as part of its repositioning plan.
