GFP Real Estate has announced that Counseling In Schools, a non-profit organization supporting the emotional and social well-being of New York City school communities, has extended its lease at 505 Eighth Ave in Midtown. The organization signed a seven-year lease for its existing 2,457 square feet on the 13th floor.
The terms of the transaction were undisclosed but asking rents at 505 Eighth Ave start in the low $40s per square foot range. Allen Gurevich from GFP Real Estate represented the landlord while Lisa Ann Pollakowski from Lee & Associates acted as tenant representative during negotiations.
“Counseling In Schools is an invaluable asset to New York City’s school system,” said Gurevich “We are delighted to see them renew their commitment to this convenient midtown location.” 505 Eighth Avenue offers staff citywide easy access due to its centralized position within Manhattan.
