Space Investment Partners has recently finished an extensive $11-million renovation project for The Ranch at Newport Bay, a mixed-use retail property located in Costa Mesa. This 60,000-square-foot grocery-anchored center is now fully occupied after welcoming its newest tenant, Verde – a unique restaurant and bar concept.
Verde officially opened its doors in November of 2024 and occupies two separate spaces within the neighborhood center totaling 5,000 square feet. The lower level features the Verde Bar with a diverse beverage program while the upper level offers ingredient-driven seasonal California cuisine.
In 2019, Space Investment Partners acquired The Ranch with plans to revamp it into a health and wellness-focused destination anchored by Irvine Ranch. This transformation was driven by their vision to cater to the daily needs of nearby upscale neighborhoods.
Co-founder Ryan Gallagher expressed his satisfaction with completing this project: “Now that we are fully occupied and the transformation is complete, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback.”
