Conx Corp., a special purpose acquisition company focused on wireless services, has acquired the former Dish Network headquarters building in Littleton, Colorado for $26.75 million. The 105,780-square-foot office building and land were sold at a 25% discount from their previous sale in February after the merger of Dish Network and EchoStar Corp.
The merged company now boasts a workforce of 17,000 employees and is valued at $6 billion. As part of the purchase agreement, Conx will enter into a sale lease-back arrangement with the seller for an initial term of 10 years. The base rent during this period will be $228,500 per month with annual escalations of 2%. Additionally,the seller has two five-year renewal options under this agreement which is guaranteed by DISH Network.
This recent transaction marks another milestone for Conx as it continues to expand its portfolio through strategic acquisitions in the wireless industry.
