The Travis Building, a San Antonio landmark built in 1924 and restored in 1983, was purchased by Harris Bay for $18.25 million late 2020. Since then over $5 million has been invested into the renovation of the 63-unit multifamily conversion which consists mostly of 1- or 2-bedrooms as well as penthouses with rents starting at $1,550 and topping out at $3,200 for those penthouse units. The lobby is still undergoing construction but expected to be ready later this year. Local architecture firm CREO Architecture designed the project while DJE Texas Management Group serves as co-developer on the project.
