Provident Realty Advisors has announced its plans to transform the former Cypress Semiconductor Corp. building in Round Rock into an industrial park. According to the Austin Business Journal, construction is set to begin in April on what will be known as “Round Rock Eagles Nest Industrial.” The project, with a budget of $23 million, is expected to be completed by May 2026 and will consist of three buildings totaling 292,995 square feet for light industrial use or office and warehouse space.
The Cypress campus was closed down in 2008 after being operational for two decades with a staff of around 200 employees. Provident Realty Advisors, founded in 1991 and known for developing over $5.5 billion worth of projects across five states (primarily Texas), has taken on this venture as part of their portfolio which includes multifamily developments and a retail office tower within the Austin area.
