"Convention Center in Houston Suburb Receives $159M Approval"

The East Montgomery County Improvement District has given the green light for the sale and issuance of $159 million in sales tax revenue bonds. These funds will be used to construct a 210,000 square foot convention center and an attached parking garage with 813 spaces at Valley Ranch Town Center in New Caney, located east of The Woodlands.
