The Pederson Group has successfully secured the first tenants for its highly anticipated $100 million development, known as The Trailhead. This impressive project includes a 63,000-square-foot Safeway store and quality sit-down restaurants, along with a 350-unit multifamily complex and a new church.
Leading the pack are two popular dining options: Tacos & Craft and The Sparrow. In total, The Trailhead will offer 140,000 square feet of retail space surrounded by attractive amenities such as a water feature, community garden and open areas for dining, games and community events near Sunrise Mountain Preserve.
The team behind this exciting venture includes Phoenix-based developer Pederson Group Inc., general contractor Campbell Development and architect Butler Design Group.
Phase one of construction is set to be completed by the end of 2024 with an expected opening date for Safeway grocery store and adjacent shops that are already at an impressive leasing rate of 80%.
