Construction has begun on The Mix, a 112-acre mixed-use community in Frisco, Texas with an estimated value of $3 billion. Located at the intersection of Dallas Parkway and Lebanon Road in the North Platinum Corridor, the first phase of development will cover 28 acres along Lebanon Road.
The project is expected to include over 2 million square feet of office space, 375,000 square feet of retail space (including a grocery store), two hotels with a total of approximately 600 rooms (a business hotel with around 400-450 keys and a boutique hotel with around200 keys), and approximately3 million square feetof residential space.
Torti Gallas + Partnersand Arcadis are serving as master plan architects for The Mix. Other partners involved in the project include Kimley-Horn for planning and design engineering; MIG for landscape architecture; StreetLights Residentialfor mixed-use development; The Retail Connectionfor retail spaces; JLLfor office and medical spaces. AECOM Hunt is responsible for infrastructure work on the first phase.
At its center will be an expansive8-acre central park featuring amenities such as an event lawn, performance pavilion,promenades,and playgrounds. This highly anticipated community aims to provide residentswitha diverse rangeof experiences within walking distance from their homes or workplaces.
