**Demolition Set to Begin for $125M Gallery Haus Project in Downtown St. Petersburg**

Demolition is set to begin at the future site of Gallery Haus, a $125 million mixed-use multifamily development in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The project is being led by real estate investment firms Black Salmon and LD&D, with LD&D’s partner IGEQ also joining in the venture.

This milestone follows the recent closing of a $6 million site-work loan secured through Osprey Capital. KAST Construction has been appointed as the general contractor for the 23-story project.

Gallery Haus will be located at 155 17th Street South, in the heart of St. Petersburg’s downtown corridor. The development will offer 254 residential units, more than 10,000 square feet of amenities, including coworking space and a fitness center facing the adjacent Pinellas Trail. The ground floor will include a coffee shop integrated into the building’s lobby to complement the vibrant urban setting.

The project’s location provides close proximity to Tropicana Field, where a $6.8 billion redevelopment plan, proposed by Ellison Development, ARK Invest, and Horus Construction, seeks to transform the Historic Gas Plant District into a major economic and cultural destination.
