**Construction Underway on Nashville’s The Bend at Capitol District**

Ridgeline Development Partners (RDP) and Deep Cove Partners (DCP) have officially broken ground on The Bend at Capitol District, a major mixed-use development and phase-two expansion of the TownePlace Suites at North Capitol, which was completed in 2020. The new project is expected to be completed by early 2027.

The Bend will add approximately 550,000 square feet to the North Capitol area and will feature a combination of hospitality, residential, and retail spaces. Located near the Tennessee State Capitol and Metro Courthouse, the development aims to become a significant hub within the city.

Designed by Smith Gee Studio in collaboration with S9 Architecture, The Bend will span nearly three acres and transform the area into an interconnected urban destination. Skanska USA has been appointed as the general contractor and will now begin full-scale construction.

Key components of the project include:

– A new 8-story, 188-key Moxy Capitol District hotel.
– A 10-story residential building, comprising:
– The Delle at The Bend: 128 fully furnished, apartment-style executive stay accommodations.
– The Residences at The Bend: 133 for-rent residential units.
– 17,000 square feet of retail space integrated into a vibrant pedestrian paseo.

The Bend at Capitol District is set to enhance the downtown Nashville experience by blending dynamic living spaces, hospitality, and retail into a cohesive urban environment.
