**Construction Underway on The Bend at Capitol District in Nashville**
Ridgeline Development Partners (RDP) and Deep Cove Partners (DCP) have officially broken ground on The Bend at Capitol District, a significant mixed-use expansion to their previously completed TownePlace Suites at North Capitol project. The Bend is expected to be completed in early 2027.
The new development will contribute an additional 550,000 square feet to the North Capitol area, bringing a range of new offerings including a hotel, for-rent apartments, executive stay accommodations, and retail space. Strategically located near the Tennessee State Capitol and Metro Courthouse, the project aims to be a vibrant new destination in downtown Nashville.
Designed by Smith Gee Studio and S9 Architecture, The Bend at Capitol District will span nearly three acres. Skanska USA is serving as the general contractor and is set to begin full-scale construction.
Key elements of the project include:
– An eight-story, 188-key Moxy hotel known as the Moxy Capitol District.
– A ten-story residential building, which includes the following:
– The Delle at The Bend: 128 fully furnished, apartment-style accommodations geared toward executive stays.
– The Residences at The Bend: 133 apartment units available for long-term rental.
– Approximately 17,000 square feet of retail space, all integrated within an interconnected pedestrian paseo.
The Bend is poised to become a dynamic hub for residential living, hospitality, and shopping in Nashville’s growing downtown corridor.
