Construction Begins on Income-Restricted Condominiums in Dorchester

The Mayor’s Office of Housing, in collaboration with TLee Development and CoEverything, has announced the groundbreaking of the Harvard and Standish Homes, a new mixed-income housing project in Dorchester. The initiative will bring 22 new, income-restricted homeownership opportunities to the neighborhood.

“The Harvard and Standish Homes development reflects our commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities across Boston,” said Chief of Housing Sheila Dillon. “Through strong partnerships, the City is helping families and individuals of different incomes purchase stable homes and contribute to their communities.”

The project features two residential buildings—one located on Harvard Street and the other on Standish Street. The Harvard Street structure will be a three-story mixed-use building that includes 16 income-restricted condominiums along with ground-floor retail space. The Standish Street building will add six more income-restricted condo units to the development.

This project represents another step in the City’s broader effort to increase accessible homeownership and community investment in Boston’s neighborhoods.
