Construction Begins on 90-Room Miami Beach Hotel

Construction has begun on the new Dolce by Wyndham Miami hotel, a joint project between Glokal Group and Blue Road. The 90-key hotel, located at 1745 James Ave., will cost $40 million and span five stories. This prime location was previously occupied by Sanctuary South Beach Condos, but the developer acquired the property for $14.41 million in 2019 and demolished it.

Local companies Buslam (general contractor) and Revuelta Architecture are collaborating on this project. According to reports from S.Florida Business Journal, Amerant Bank granted a construction loan of $21.5 million to support development efforts.

The luxurious Dolce by Wyndham Miami will feature a restaurant as well as a rooftop pool for guests to enjoy during their stay. With easy access to both the beachfront area and Miami Beach Convention Center – known for hosting global corporate events – visitors can indulge in shopping sprees or explore art galleries while experiencing South Beach’s vibrant culture.
