"Constructing Industrial Buildings for Alvil Trucking: A Guide to Principles"

Principle Construction is currently in the process of constructing a new industrial building for their returning client, Alvil Trucking. This project involves the development of a 22,245 square foot warehouse with a clear height of 24 feet located at 2450 Millennium Drive in Elgin, Illinois. The purpose of this facility will be to provide maintenance and repair services for Alvil’s truck fleet.

According to Principle’s COO Mark Augustyn, trucking remains an integral part of the supply chain as online shopping continues to grow and consumers demand speedy delivery. As such, Alvil relies on Principle to construct modern and high-quality warehouses that can support their operations.

Leading this project is John Cahill from Principle as the project manager and Matt Frane as the onsite superintendent. Harris Architects has been selected as the project architect while Jacob & Hefner serves as civil engineer for this five-acre site which includes parking space for up to 48 vehicles along with six docks and two drive-in doors specifically designed for efficient movement of trucks within the facility.
