Consigli Building Group, Inc. and Lendlease have reached an agreement for Consigli to acquire Lendlease’s construction operations in New York and New Jersey. This acquisition includes a team of skilled employees and approximately 45 ongoing projects at various stages.
With its headquarters in Sydney, Australia, Lendlease has been providing top-notch construction services in the New York area since 1979. Their expertise lies in healthcare, life sciences, residential, and mixed-use projects. Some notable NYC projects completed by Lendlease include the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Central Park Tower,Columbia University,Jacob K.Javits Convention Center Expansion,and American Museum of Natural History.
According to Claire Johnston,Lendlease Americas CEO,”I am immensely proud of our team’s achievements over the past four decades.This transaction is a testament to our office’s remarkable track record of delivering world-class projects.” She further added that as part of their global strategy,Lendlease will be focusing more on construction and development activities within Australia.Hence,the decision was made to entrust Consigli with leading their teams towards continued success for clients as well as employees.
