In 2015, the city council of Conroe approved an investment of approximately $80 million to build a new convention center and Hyatt Regency hotel. The project has since increased in cost up to $108 million, but on May 25th the 250-room hotel will finally be ready for guests.
Hyatt’s Roberto Intriago commented that Conroe is a key destination for both business and leisure travelers looking for premium full-service options in Texas’ Piney Woods region.
The amenities offered at Hyatt Regency Conroe include 13 suites, 11 accessible rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi access as well as modern bath amenities like Smart Mirror featuring ideal lighting and 65″ flat screen TVs with streaming capabilities. Additionally, there are 30,000 square feet of meeting space available along with fitness facilities and a pool area.
