Fidelis, a developer based in Conroe, is seeking to reach an agreement with the City of Hutto and a local municipal utilities district for a large mixed-use project located between SH 130 and Chris Kelly Boulevard. The proposed development, known as Huggins Crossing, will feature 600 multi-family residential units along with expanded brushy creek trailways, greenbelt areas and water features. Additionally, there are plans for 60,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space including a grocery store as well as potential for either a hotel or medical facility.
