Condos to be Built on Site of Fatal Building Collapse

DAMAC International has recently launched the sale of luxurious condominiums in South Florida, with a starting price of $15 million. The project, named “The Delmore,” will be situated at 8777 Collins Ave. in Surfside, which was previously the location of the tragic collapse of Champlain Towers South condo in 2021. DAMAC acquired this prime oceanfront property for $120 million in 2022 and plans to allocate a portion of its proceeds towards supporting victims affected by the disaster.

The Delmore will consist of 37 fully-furnished condos spread across twelve stories. These units are expected to have an average size exceeding 7,000 square feet and feature penthouses starting at an impressive size of over 10,000 square feet each. Each condo will boast two kitchens – one designed for entertainment purposes and another as a chef’s kitchen located at the back.

In addition to these lavish living spaces, The Delmore also offers more than55 ,000 square feetof amenities including a rooftop pool that is partially suspended between both towers providing stunning views from above.The development also includes an indoor pool,a residents-only restaurant featuring high-end cuisine prepared by top chefs,a state-of-the-art fitness center,and awellness spa complete with steam room,sau na,and hot/cold plunge pools.

Construction on The Delmore has already begun and is expected to be completed by2029 . This highly-anticipated project promises unparalleled luxury living experience on what was once considered hallowed ground after such tragedy struck this community.
