Whale & Star Wynwood is currently in the process of developing 2215 NW 1st Place, a mixed-use development that will encompass an eight-story building spanning half a city block. This project will include various amenities such as a new 214-key hotel called The Cloud One Hotel, residential units, retail spaces, and a rooftop bar and restaurant.
The residential units (87 in total) will be located on levels six to eight while The Cloud One Hotel’s rooms will occupy floors three to five. Residents of the condos can expect top-notch service from The Cloud One Hotel. Additionally, the rooftop area will feature not only a restaurant and bar but also a pool for residents’ enjoyment.
To make way for this exciting new development, Whale & Star Wynwood Owner LLC plans to demolish the existing commercial buildings occupying approximately 27,406 square feet on the property. In 2023 they acquired this property at $24 million.
The design of this project is being done by two renowned firms – New York-based HWKN and Miami-based ODP Architects – working together collaboratively.
