A new Lowes Foods store is nearing completion in Concord, occupying 50,000 square feet of space within the Christenbury Village retail center. This development project at 2415 Herrons Nest Place NW is a joint effort between MPV Properties and Mission Properties.
The upcoming store will offer customers a comprehensive supermarket experience, complete with the popular Lowes Foods Originals feature where shoppers can purchase customizable meals to enjoy on-site or take home. With its founding dating back to 1954, Lowes Foods currently operates 85 stores across North and South Carolina as well as Georgia. Some notable locations include Huntersville, Harrisburg, and Mooresville; recently renovated Mt. Airy location has also reopened for business while three other stores are being built in Kannapolis,Waxhaw,and Indian Land.
In addition to the new grocery store,the Christenbury Village project includes plans for two mixed-use buildings featuring a total of150 apartment units along with26 ,000 square feet of commercial space.Additionally,a separate area along Christenbury Parkway will accommodate an additional24 ,000 square feet dedicated to medical offices and retail establishments.This exciting development marks another step forward for both Lowes Foods’ expansion effortsandthe growthof this vibrant community.
