GGP and Tribek are collaborating on a new industrial park located off Pitts School Road in Concord. The park will cover 80 acres and feature six buildings, with Tribek leading the development of a 392,000-square-foot speculative building and GGP developing five shallow-bay buildings totaling 358,000 square feet. There are also plans for retail space to be included in the project, with several outparcels designated for this purpose.
According to reports from the Charlotte Business Journal, GGP and Tribek acquired the land for $12 million. Construction is being overseen by Landmark Builders while McMillan Pazdan Smith serves as architect and Oak Engineering as civil engineer.
JLL’s Brad Cherry, Matthew Greer, and Jay Hill are spearheading leasing efforts for Tribek’s building while CBRE’s Alek Salfia Bryan Crutcher ,and Anne Johnson lead leasing efforts for GGP’s buildings. This joint venture marks an exciting new development in Concord that promises to bring economic growth to the area.
