Leander, the northernmost suburb of Austin, is working to become more than a bedroom community. Northline and St. John Properties are teaming up on a 120,000 square foot office building that will include 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Construction is expected to start early next year with completion in the first half of 2025.
The development aims for 5 million square feet of office space, retail stores, residential units hotel rooms and civic spaces as well as a signature park between U.S Highway 183 and the 183 toll road when fully built out over the next decade or so – an investment likely to exceed $1 billion due to rising construction costs according to Northline representatives .
This project marks Leander’s first downtown office building which could be just the beginning for this growing town’s future plans!
