PREMIER Design + Build Group has successfully finished the construction of LBA Teterboro, a state-of-the-art industrial facility spanning 119,600 square feet in Teterboro, New Jersey. The project was commissioned by LBA Logistics, a prominent player in the industrial real estate market.
The building boasts LEED certification and offers Class A amenities such as a 36-foot clear height and ample space for loading with 20 dock doors and two drive-in doors. Additionally, there are 91 parking spaces available for employees and visitors.
Situated near major transportation hubs like Teterboro Airport, the New Jersey Turnpike, and George Washington Bridge; this facility is strategically located to cater to businesses that require efficient logistics solutions. During demolition work at the site which is just 200 feet from runway jets’ path at the airport; special measures were taken to ensure dust control.
Due to its location on unstable meadowlands soil type; PREMIER had to conduct surcharging activities for eight months before grading could begin on-site. Moreover,the team also adhered strictly with local regulations regarding contaminated soil management – an issue commonly faced in this region – as well as federal guidelines concerning crane operations due to its proximity with an active airport.
This marks PREMIER’s third successful collaboration with LBA Logistics within Northeastern United States region alone.
