Kennedy Wilson Brokerage recently finalized the sale of Delizia Ranch, an 8.25-acre parcel in Antioch for $3.75 million. This transaction marks the first step towards developing a 16-acre master-planned community that will introduce 216 single-family rental townhomes to the area. Vice President Eric Rehn expertly represented Delizia Ranch, LLC as the seller.
The purchase of this property represents half of BrightSky Residential’s more than 16-acre assemblage in Antioch, where they plan to develop townhomes ranging from 941 to 1,504 square feet. Construction is set to begin in late-2024 and completion is expected by mid-2025.
According to Rehn, there is a high demand for transit-oriented multifamily development in this region and finding suitable sites can be challenging. However, this property meets all necessary criteria with its convenient location on a bus route near a BART station and direct access to State Route 4. As such, it presents an excellent opportunity for creating a well-positioned transit-oriented community that can support the growing labor demand in the area.
This recent sale completes BrightSky Residential’s assemblage for their planned single-family rental project without any mention of specific companies or organizations involved.
