Construction has reached a significant milestone for the 48-story Paseo apartment tower in downtown Austin’s Rainey Street neighborhood. The project, developed by LV Collective and built by JE Dunn Construction, broke ground in early 2023 and is on track to open its doors to residents in late 2025. Architects Pappageorge Haymes Partners have designed the building.
The Paseo offers a total of 557 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Its impressive list of amenities includes a pool, spa, fitness center, private rooftop pool and sky lounge on floor 48, as well as amenity decks with coworking spaces featuring private work pods and collaborative conference rooms spanning floors 12-14. On the ground level and second floor of the tower will be retail space housing multiple food and beverage concepts.
Two historic bungalows have been preserved on site for use as restaurant and bar spaces while an additional vacant space under the main floor will be transformed into a music venue by developers LV Collective. This exciting new addition to Austin’s skyline promises luxury living with unique touches that pay homage to its vibrant surroundings.
