The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is nearing completion on two major projects that have been in the works for the past two years. The first is a mixed-income apartment building, located at 733 N. Drennan St., which will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom units to individuals with varying incomes. This building, along with its 80 units, boasts amenities such as an outdoor play area, fitness room, business center and indoor/outdoor community spaces for events.
In addition to the apartment building, the partnership has also completed construction on a new pocket park called Japhet Creek Park. This park will officially open to the public in September and is part of an overall $310 million project that spans a 4-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from U.S. 59 to Port of Houston Turning Basin.
With these improvements underway and nearing completion, residents can look forward to enjoying new housing options as well as green space for recreation and relaxation along this beautiful waterfront area.
