**Comcast Powers Naperville’s Block 59 Development with High-Speed Network Expansion**

Comcast Business has completed a significant network expansion in Naperville, Illinois, providing high-speed internet, advanced cybersecurity, and a range of technology solutions to Block 59 — a 16.5-acre redevelopment project that is transforming the area with a new mix of dining, retail, and entertainment options.

“Block 59 has already announced many new businesses who have been eager to call Naperville home,” said Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli. Comcast has invested more than $80 billion over the past decade to enhance its next-generation network across the country, including $1.4 billion in infrastructure improvements in Illinois over the last three years.

The $53 million Block 59 redevelopment is led by Brixmor Property Group. The project is converting a former shopping center into a modern entertainment destination anchored by an event plaza. Just minutes from downtown Naperville, the open-air venue will feature approximately 82,500 square feet of space dedicated to restaurants and entertainment.

Confirmed tenants in the development include The Cheesecake Factory, Yard House, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Shake Shack, and Stan’s Donuts, along with additional retail options located within multi-tenant outparcels.

This investment in digital infrastructure is a key component in supporting the growth and modernization of Naperville’s commercial landscape.
