BGO, a global real estate investment management firm, and Crawford Hoying, an Ohio-based full-service development, management, and construction company, have announced the sale of their state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Columbus, Ohio.

The 179,000-square-foot speculative facility was developed in response to rising demand for high-quality, sustainable, temperature-controlled logistics space. Contegra Construction served as the general contractor on the project, while CBRE acted as the leasing agent.

Strategically located in the Columbus industrial corridor, the facility is equipped with advanced refrigeration and storage technology to support modern food distribution operations.

“The successful sale of this modern and sustainable cold storage facility highlights the strength of our collective capability to deliver best-in-class cold chain assets that meet the rapidly growing needs of today’s diverse occupiers,” said Kevin Rivest, Managing Partner and U.S. Head of BGO Cold Chain.

The development was sold for $76 million.
