**Columbia Property Trust Inks 43,000 SF in New Leases, Renewals at 116 Huntington Ave.**
Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has secured five new leases, expansions, and renewals totaling 43,000 square feet at its 116 Huntington Avenue property in Boston’s Back Bay.
In the largest of the agreements, data trust company Ataccama signed a new lease for 9,442 square feet after previously occupying temporary space in the building.
Falcon Investment Advisors will relocate its headquarters from the Boston Harbor/Waterfront area to a 6,447-square-foot space at 116 Huntington. Strategic insights and consulting firm HawkPartners will also move its Boston office from the Prudential Tower to a newly built 6,061-square-foot suite in the building.
In addition to the new leases, renewable energy leader BlueWave Solar is expanding its footprint at the property to 11,300 square feet. Meanwhile, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Bicara Therapeutics has extended its existing 9,361-square-foot lease, while also expanding with an additional 9,682 square feet through a sublease.
Columbia was represented in-house by Ted Koltis, Executive Vice President and Head of Real Estate, and Maria Blake, Vice President of Real Estate. External representation was handled by a JLL team including Dan Cavanaugh, Patrick Nugent, and Maeve Cleary.
