Billingsley Co. is close to finalizing plans for what could be one of the largest commercial real estate projects in the state. The project, named Sloan Corners, will span 500 acres at the corners of I-75 and SH-121 and include 10 million square feet of office space, 6,000 apartment units and 200,000 square feet of retail with a potential value exceeding $3 billion upon completion.
The company has stated that its ambitious plan includes high and mid-rise residences which would bring both day time populations as well as nighttime activity unmatched by any other area development. Additionally there will be acres dedicated to parks along with bridges and pedestrian trails running alongside Sloan Creek providing an attractive outdoor setting for visitors or residents alike. Billingsley has yet to disclose a start date for construction on this massive undertaking but it appears they are getting closer every day!
