Colliers has hired industrial specialist Sean Austin as an Executive Vice President (EVP). He will join Colliers’ Midwest industrial team and focus on the downtown Chicago market, providing clients with assistance in leasing, acquisition and disposition of assets.
Austin recently served as a Principal at Lee & Associates where he negotiated deals valued at more than $100 million within 36 months, primarily in Fulton Market and the city. His notable clientele includes Prologis, Faropoint, Brennan TradeLane Sterling Bay Transport Properties Panattoni IDI Peppercorn Capital Thor Equities Leslie Hindman Enterprises.
Prior to that role he was a Vice President (VP) for The Kane Company located in Portsmouth NH overseeing an office/industrial portfolio of 2 million square feet. Additionally Austin has worked for Cushman & Wakefield and Trammell Crow Company based out of Southern California completing deals worth $400 million throughout Los Angeles County Inland Empire while being one of the top producers annually within his market area .
