Colliers recently arranged the sale of a premier medical office building located at 1521 Hickory Flat Hwy. in Canton, GA. EVPs Michael Lipton and Josh Gregory represented the seller, a joint venture between several medical practices while Charlie Dickhaus of Realty Trust Group, LLC represented the buyer Northside Hospital.
1521 Hickory Flat Hwy is a Class A 36,000-square-foot medical office building that was completed in 2021 and is one of two new MOBs built in the area with easy access to I-575 and proximity to Northside Hospital Cherokee. The majority of this newly constructed facility has been leased by Northside Hospital – a hospital and healthcare company based out Cumming GA.
Lipton stated that when they initially purchased 1495 Hickory Flat it was intended for construction on another twin building which quickly filled up with premier practices including Roswell OB/GYN Heart & Vascular Care as well as North Atlanta Primary Care Resurgens & Cleaver Dermatology; most were preleased by Northside prior to completion..
