Colliers Brokers Sale of Historic Warehouse Apartments in Minneapolis

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Capital Markets team at Colliers, consisting of Mox Gunderson, Dan Linnell, Devon Dvorak and Adam Haydon, successfully represented Greco in the sale of ElseWarehouse. This iconic property is located at 730 N. Washington Ave in Minneapolis and was acquired by North Dakota-based Great States Development.

This transaction marks the first time that these historic warehouse apartments have been on the market for sale. According to Gunderson, this was a rare opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after property in one of Minnesota’s top micro markets with strong performance nationwide.

ElseWarehouse is situated in the popular North Loop neighborhood and boasts 100% concrete construction. The building offers 116 residences ranging from one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with high ceilings averaging over 10 feet tall. These chic abodes feature unique exposed brick accents and spacious floor plans averaging around 907 square feet.

Originally built as a warehouse in the 1920s, Greco converted it into stylish apartments back in 2012 – making them one of the first developers to embrace adaptive reuse within this desirable area known as North Loop. Scott Houle from Great States Development expressed excitement about acquiring such an iconic property within this vibrant neighborhood saying “We are thrilled to announce our acquisition of ElseWarehouse.”
