**Plan for Coastal New Hampshire Casino Clears Approval Hurdle**

The Hampton, New Hampshire Planning Board has approved Lupoli Companies’ ambitious plan to redevelop the iconic Hampton Beach Casino and Ballroom. The proposed project will more than double the size of the existing facility and is expected to cost between $400 million and $600 million.

The development, as reported by Boston.com, will feature a 3,500-seat ballroom and event venue, a 208-room boutique hotel with an additional event space, 99 residential condominium units, a spa, multiple restaurants, retail space, and a 52,000-square-foot charitable gaming casino. A 732-space enclosed parking garage is also included in the plan.

Lawrence, Massachusetts-based Lupoli Companies is collaborating with Cambridge architectural firm PCA, engineering firm TEC (based in Lawrence), and Boston-based landscape architect Halvorson. The team anticipates starting demolition in September 2026, with construction estimated to take approximately three years to complete.

Dating back to 1899, the original Hampton Beach Casino remains a historic landmark and currently houses Aces & Eights Casinos, one of 14 licensed casinos in New Hampshire.
