**Cloudburst Plans Natural Gas-Powered Data Center in Hays County**

Cloudburst is moving forward with plans to construct a large-scale data center on a 96-acre site located at 2955 Francis Harris Lane, just outside the City of New Braunfels in Hays County, Texas.

According to Community Impact, due to restrictions from the state that prevent the use of existing area power lines, the data center will rely on an on-site, behind-the-meter natural gas-fired power plant for its electricity needs. To support this initiative, Cloudburst has signed a long-term agreement with Energy Transfer to supply up to 450,000 MMBtu (million British thermal units) of firm natural gas per day. The natural gas will be delivered through a pipeline that runs directly through the proposed site.

This partnership with Energy Transfer will facilitate phased development of both the data center facility and the power plant, with plans to reach a total capacity of up to 1.2 gigawatts.

Pending permit approvals, construction is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2025, with the first phase expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026.
