Founders Development Company is moving forward with the RailRoad Lofts development in Cleburne, Texas. This project is part of the broader Railhead Addition master plan and represents a significant investment in the region’s growth.
The estimated $70 million development will be financed in part by a $57 million 40-year fixed-rate HUD loan, with the remaining $13 million available to private investors through limited partnership opportunities.
Strategically located next to La Moderna Field, home to the Cleburne Railroaders minor league baseball team, RailRoad Lofts will be a mixed-use community designed to serve a variety of residential and commercial needs. The development will ultimately include townhomes, build-to-rent housing, retail and dining establishments, a hotel, and a medical center.
Cary Clarke, co-founder of Founders Development, stated, “This project checks every box: growth corridor, entitlement-ready land, high-demand multifamily housing, and a mixed-use vision that builds real community.”
The RailRoad Lofts will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans equipped with contemporary amenities. Residents will have access to a clubhouse with a full kitchen and coffee bar, a resident lounge, a business center with conference rooms, a fully equipped fitness facility, a swimming pool, and outdoor cooking stations.
This development reflects a broader trend of creating dynamic, community-focused urban spaces in high-demand areas.
