"Clayco Appoints New CEO and Establishes Data Center Division"

Clayco, a company based in Chicago, has announced the retirement of its CEO Russ Burns. Effective immediately, Anthony Johnson will take over as CEO after serving as Clayco’s executive vice president and president of its industrial business unit.

Burns officially retired in December but will continue to be involved with the company as Chairman of the Board of Advisors for Clayco. Bob Clark, Founder and Executive Chairman at Clayco expressed his gratitude for Burns’ contributions during his time as CEO which saw significant growth for the company in becoming one of the largest builders specializing in technical and mission critical projects across America. Clark also expressed confidence that Johnson would continue this success by building on Burns’ legacy.

As new CEO, Johnson will lead Clayco’s ongoing development into a premier vertically integrated design-build and development firm within the country. In addition to this leadership change announcement, it was also revealed that Clayco is launching a new division called “Clayco Compute” which specializes exclusively on constructing advanced technology centers within data centers – further expanding their capabilities within this sector.
